Dear Parents (and Students),Welcome to Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physical Science! I am here to not only help each student set admirable and attainable goals but to achieve them as well. My expectations are high and will require commitment and responsibility by each of us. I want you and each student to feel as if they can talk to me to discuss any concern or comment that is had. I am happy to work with your child in this exciting year at Carman-Ainsworth. If you wish to speak with me, I am available before and after school. Unfortunately, I do not have a conference hour this year. Tutoring will be held after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:20-3:10 in room 307. If there is another day that you need help, please don't hesitate to ask. I am available most days after school if necessary. I also encourage students and parents to contact me through email (kherd@carmanainsworth.org) or by telephone (810-591-5470). Parent involvement is very important. Please contact me whenever you wish, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I expect this year to be a good year for us all.
